Researchers at Tehran University's Biochemistry and Biophysics Research Center have succeeded in changing the molecular structure of insulin to improve its effectiveness in the treatment of diabetes. These changes can reduce side effects and increase the effectiveness of insulin drugs. Researchers have used advanced biochemical methods to produce a new form of insulin that is more stable and longer-lived. This achievement can be a big step towards improving the lives of millions of diabetic patients. The UNESCO chair in interdisciplinary research in diabetes headed by Dr. Ali Akbar Mousavi Mohadi led this research group.
